Since the launch of my food blog in March 2012, tashasculinaryjourney.wordpress.com, this forum allows me to document my culinary experiences with photos, videos and vivid descriptions. A “snapshot” of my culinary adventures is a great tool for documenting my experiences at Le Cordon Bleu, working experiences as well as interactions with chefs, celebrity chefs, food stylists and food experts.
I currently work as a free-lace food stylist in Los Angeles – for a variety of clients. I may be working with a celebrity chef, cooking and styling for cookbook authors on a Satellite Media Tour, or with a wide variety of client who need recipe development/photo shoot for print and web work.
In August, 2012, I shared my adventures with you in France from L’Auberge La Fenière where Chef Reine Sammut has created the most amazing “Menus Dégustations” (tasting menus) in this posh French countryside inn/restaurant/bistro in the Lourmarin, near Cadenet in the South of France.
I enjoy sharing my adventures in cooking, catering and food styling. I have had the opportunity to work with food photographers, video segments for The Cooking Channel, HGTV and ULIVE as well as a stylist for KTLA-5 and cooking segments on CBS and NBC.
In September 2013, I returned to La Provence to launch Le Soleil Provençal – details to follow! I will be following food festivals in France such as:
